Puncak Jaya

Puncak Jaya is a peak that is part of the Barisan Sudirman located in Papua province, Indonesia. Puncak Jaya has an elevation of 5,030 m and nearby lies Carstensz glacier, the only tropical glaciers in Indonesia, which most likely will soon disappear due to global warming.



This peak is the highest mountain in Indonesia Oceania region. Puncak Jaya is one of the seven summits of the world.
