Adam's Peak (also known as Mount Adam; Sinhala Samanalakanda - සමනළ කන්ද "butterfly mountain", Tamil Sivanolipatha Malai - சிவனொலி பாதமலை), altitude 2,243 m (7.359 ft) and is located in the center of the island of Sri Lanka.
