Mount Erebus

Mount Erebus is an active volcano in Antarctica. This mountain elevations of 3794 meters above sea level and is located at 77.5 latitude, 167.2 east.
Erebus was found the first time in 1841 by James Clark Ross and began to climb in 1908 this volcano has been continuously active since 1972 mountain name is derived from the name of Erebus, one of the gods in Greek mythology.
