Kangchenjunga

Kangchenjunga (Nepali: कञ्चनजङ्घा Kanchanjangha) Sewalungma (Limbu) is the 3rd highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest and Chogori) with an altitude of 8,586 meters (28,169 feet). The mountain is also the 2nd highest mountain in Nepal. Kangchenjunga means "The Five Treasures of the Snow, as it consists of five peaks, four of which reaches more than 8,450 meters.

Kangchenjunga is called in the language Sewalungma Limbu and purified in Kirant religious traditions. Three of 5 peak (main, central, and southern) limit the region of North Sikkim district of Sikkim, India and Taplejung District of Nepal, and the other 2 are in the Taplejung district. Besides this region is also used as Kangchenjunga Conservation Area Project by the World Wildlife Fund, the Red Panda protect animals, birds, and plants typical of Nepal. part of India also has a protected area in the Khangchendzonga National Park.
